Cystitis is a distressing condition caused by an infection and/or inflammation of the bladder. It is normally no more than a painful
nuisance and only rarely becomes more serious. Cystitis will occur in 4 out of 5 women at least once in their lifetime, so it is a very common complaint and the attacks usually cause no lasting damage.
Cystopurin helps to relieve syptoms of cystitis by making the urine less acidic, reducing the discomfort caused by acidic urine.
Dose: Cystopurin sachets are dissolved in 200ml of water and taken 3 times a day for 2 days (48 hours).
Cystopurin works best if taken at the onset of symptoms before the condition takes full effect and can prevent further need for treatment. If syptoms do not improve following treatment, speak to your doctor or pharmacist for futher assessment.
