What is Telfast?

Telfast is a branded medicine containing the antihistamine Fexofenadine. Fexofenadine is a non-drowsy antihistamine for the treatment of allergies such as hayfever, eczema, hives, insect bites and some food allergies.

How it works?

Histamine is released in our bodies in response to certain allergens, such as pollen during the hay fever season, which leads to symptoms of allergies. Fexofenadine prevents the actions of histamine taking effect, providing relief from symptoms such as runny eyes and nose, itching, sneezing and skin rashes.

How effective is Fexofenadine?

Fexofenadine is a very effective, prescription strength treatment. It can start working from 1 hour, with effects lasting upto 24 hours.
Fexofenadine should be taken once a day before food.
