Hydrocortisone 1% cream is a mild steroid cream for use for allergic reactions such as eczema and insect bites.

Hydrocortison 1% cream is a mild cream containing a corticosteroid. It can be used to reduce the swelling and itching caused from allergic reactions such as contact dermatitis or allergies caused by soaps, detergents, irritants, plant and animal allergies, jewellery and can also be used to reduce itching from insect bites.
It is suitable from 10 years of age and upwards.
Hydrocortisone cream should be applied thinly no more than twice a day and for a maximum of 7 days.
Not to be used on the face, genital areas or on broken skin.
