The NHS has closed its online free covid-19 test kits and eligible patients must now obtain there kit from a pharmacy.
Pharmassured pharmacy would like to be able to keep this service accessible to vulnerable patients who need to test to ensure they receive timely treatment without delay due to certain underlying conditions.
If you fall into one of the following conditions, please contact us and provide your Name, Date of birth, NHS number (if available), your address and we can help by delivering a free kit directly to your door.
The following groups of people are eligible for free NHS covid-19 test kits
- People aged 85 years and over
- People with end-stage heart failure who have a long-term ventricular assistance device
- People on the organ transplant waiting list
- People resident in a care home who are aged 70 years and over
- People resident in a care home who have a BMI of 35 kg/m2 or more
- People resident in a care home who have diabetes
- People resident in a care home who have heart failure
- People currently in a hospital who are aged 70 years and over
- People currently in a hospital who have a BMI of 35 kg/m2 or more
- People currently in a hospital who have diabetes
- People currently in a hospital who have heart failure
